BLANCPAIN LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO CHRONOGRAPH; WHEN WATCH MEETS RACING CAR
























You might have seen my previous posts pertaining LAMBORGHINI BLANCPAIN SUPER TROFEO CHRONOGRAPH, a collaborative project between the world’s oldest watch brand and the legendary car manufacturer; and you might be very curious how the timepiece looks like. Well,…here it is!
Inspired by the ardent character and taut, the limited edition watch – only 300 pieces will be available – features a powerful sporty appeal and sophisticated line of the LAMBORGHINI car. The case manifests the shimmering profile of the LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO LP560-4, theBLANCPAIN’s color bearing cars that is able to reach top speeds of over 300 km/h. There will be 30 alliance cars like this to race in the six events of European Championship, in UK, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Spain and France. On each race event, BLANCPAIN will release 50 pieces of the SUPER TROFEO CHRONOGRAPHS.
The BLANCPAIN LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO CHRONOGRAPH WATCH features oversized 9 and 12 o’clock numerals which call to mind the numbers painted on each of the Lamborghini Blancpain racing cars. Its gold oscillating weight is engraved with the inscription Super Trofeo 2009while the case-back is engraved with an individual number of the watch. The strap, equipped with a steel folding clasp, goes in Alcantara, the same material as the seats in Lamborghini Gallardo.


The watch’s black dial includes alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces. The case measures 43.5 mm in diameter and incorporates construction of 100-metre water resistant.
The new BLANCPAIN LAMBORGHINI CHRONOGRAPH presents state-of-the-art design and all the attributes of cutting-edge technology. Crafted in steel coated with a treatment – DLC – DIAMOND LIKE CARBONthe world’s toughest material in which only diamond can exceed it in hardness. Moreover, DLC is also known for its superiority in anti-allergenic properties and extraordinary intense color; not to mention its exceptional low friction coefficient, excellent chemical inertia, as well as corrosion and friction resistance.
