Minerva Ikut Bergaya Retro

Jakarta - Tren motor retro nampaknya akan semakin menyebar di masa depan. Setelah Honda memulai tren ini dengan mengeluarkan Scoopy, Minerva tampak akan ikut memeriahkan tren tersebut.

Sebab pabrikan motor tersebut berencana akan mengeluarkan sebuah skutik anyar bergaya retro tidak lama lagi.

Hal tersebut diungkapkan oleh Presiden Direktur PT Minerva Motor Indonesia (MMI) Kristanto Goenadi di sela-sela test ride Minerva R150 VX di Jakarta, Jumat (21/5/2010).

"Di PRJ (Pekan Raya Jakarta) nanti kami akan kenalkan motor retro baru. Motor itu akan kami pajang disana," ungkapnya.

Motor retro anyar tersebut menurut Kristanto kemungkinan akan dinamakan Minerva Sachs Pepe yang lebih menawan dari motor retro yang ada.

"Karena kami mengambil basis dari Benelli Pepe yang berdesain Eropa. Suka tidak suka desain Eropa jauh lebih baik dari Jepang," tambahnya.

Di PRJ nanti Minerva Sachs Pepe ini akan dipajang untuk melihat respons masyarakat.

"Sementara waktu peluncuran resminya akan kami jadwalkan setelahnya," pungkas Kristanto.

Itu berarti Sachs Pepe akan bersanding dengan skutik Minerva lainnya yakni Minerva GTX 125 di PRJ nanti
