          McLaren P1 concept   McLaren P1 konsep –perusahaan pembuat model sepercar – akan membuat gebrakannya di dunia pada Paris motor show minggu depan mengejar untuk memproduksi model ini pada tahun 2013. Imej-imej perdana ini memperlihatkan sisi eksterior yang lebih ekspresif melalui permukaan dan grafik nya dibandung dengan model terdahulunya MP4-12C, dengan motif-motif dibagian tertentu, desain body nya pun seperti berlapis-lapis terutama di bagian struktur karbonnya yang muncul di bagian hidung, belakang dan panel pintu, seperti merujuk pada model F-1. Bagian belakangnya memperlihatkan bagian yang tidak biasa dengan tampilan warna hitam untuk bagian outlet dan diffusers yang di ekspan, kemudian deretan lampu Led sebagai outline nya. Rolls-Royce coyly calls this the 200EX, saying it's merely a concept that shows the design direction for an as yet unnamed smaller, less expensive sedan designed to sell alongside the stately Phantom . But the production version of this car, code-named RR4, will look virtually identical. The RR4 will feature the third evolution of Rolls-Royce's now familiar headlight graphic, first seen on the BMW -designed Phantom, and a variation on the laid-back grille treatment that debuted on the Phantom coupe and convertible. Hyundai 's Nuvis Concept, making its world debut at the 2009 New York show, is yet another hybrid-crossover dream car designed to blend utility with small-car fuel-economy and sci-fi futuristic styling. Penned at Hyundai's design center in Irvine, California , its SUV -style body gives the Nuvis the passenger and cargo room of a large sedan, while its wide stance and low roofline lend it a sporty appearance. Powered by a parallel hybrid system backed up by a 270-watt lithium-polymer battery, the Nuvis delivers an estimated 34 mpg city and 35 mpg highway according to Hyundai, meeting the Ford Escape Hybrid 's city mileage and beating its highway mileage by four mpg.   Hyundai's Hybrid Blue Drive system operates on a principle similar to Toyota 's Hybrid Synergy Drive, wherein the gasoline engine is mated to an electric motor that reduces the load on the engine, increasing efficiency.   NYC's cab of the future will soon be selected by Taxi of Tomorrow , a project dedicated to bringing innovative design to the next fleet of 13,237 iconic cabs consuming the city streets. The forthcoming official taxi has now been narrowed down to three designs—the Ford Transit Connect (above), the Nissan NV200 (below) and the KarsanVI (bottom). With environmental and passenger concerns at the forefront, cab riders have their chance to state their desires (and win $5,000 in free cabs) through the online survey set up by Taxi of Tomorrow.    While all three cabs are of the minivan style, each is slightly different in both shape and function.     Ferrari invited us to their headquarters in Maranello, Italy to see the work of the seven finalists in their year-long World Design Contest . The contest tasked the students with devising a concept car design with the brief to reduce fuel consumption and the car's overall weight in order to increase driving pleasure. The teams used Autodesk's Alias industrial design software , completing concepts first in renderings before generating 3D models. Each team displayed three different designs. Beating out 299 schools and taking home first place was the Transportation Design team at Seoul's Hongik University , who developed a "hyper efficient" two seat Ferrari.   After making the trip to Maranello, Italy to check out Ferrari's new Jean Nouvel-designed production facility and restaurant a year ago, we were lucky enough to be invited back for this year's World Design Contest in July 2011.  This time we toured the amazing V8 production line again, but also had the rare privilege of seeing many of the standout cars in Ferrari's extensive vintage collection, as well as getting an exclusive glimpse inside the FXX , Forumula 1 Clienti , and Classiche garages.  The FXX garage houses and maintains a few dozen independently-owned Ferrari FXXs, the $1.8 million non-street-legal versions of the Enzo. Renault has released the first official picture of the new Twingo, a model set to make its debut at the forthcoming Frankfurt motor show. A clear departure from current form, the revised Twingo adopts the DRG from the DeZir, R-Space and Captur concepts. The full width grille sits atop foglights reminiscent more of the Nissan Juke than the DeZir's smaller items. This 'stylistic renewal', as claimed by Renault, is said to give the Twingo a 'typically expressive front face' akin to the first generation city car. No interior photos or details have yet been released.

Mazda will unveil its CX-5 compact crossover SUV at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show in September. The CX-5 is the first production model to showcase the company's new design language, first seen on the Mazda's Shinari and Minagi concepts. Features such as a prominent new frontal treatment with a large Mazda logo and dynamic styling designed to convey a 'strong sense of vitality and agility' are examples of the spirit of Kodo, according to the company. The CX-5 retains the look of the Minagi concept, with its sloping roofline and sculpted sides. The interior maintains Mazda's sports-orientated theme, with three individually cowled instruments and a three-spoke steering wheel, while the central screen is controlled by an joystick, found behind the gearstick.
